This mini-course is for local service clubs or charities who in the past have held live auctions as a way to raise funds to help their community. With not everyone being comfortable yet with live events and the needs in the community increasing, the need to raise these much needed funds in a different way is greater than ever before.
Most organizations have become familiar with online meetings as a way to reach members and those who may not even be in the local community like past members or family members. This mini-course will show you how to run a live online auction using standard software and services that you are likely already using: Zoom and PowerPoint. It doesn’t take any specialized skill or technology. You do need some familiarity with Zoom and with PowerPoint, but you certainly don’t need to be an expert at either.
